
Saints Simon and Jude School opened in September of 1958, with a faculty of four Missionary Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception and one lay teacher. Our present faculty consists of twelve full time teachers. We exist for the purpose of presenting a faith based, academically superior education in a safe, nurturing environment. Please remember that no person is permitted to volunteer (including coaches) unless they have completed the Diocese of Pittsburgh Database Application, attended Protecting God's Children Workshop and signed the Code of Pastoral Conduct.
SS. Simon & Jude School is again offering Mommy & Me class for parents and children ages 1 to 2-1/2 years old, as well as a Toddler class for 2 year olds to go school 2 days a week on their own. If you are interested in a fun program that includes discovery, play, story times, friendships and crafts taught by a certified early childhood educator, call Regina Berner at 412-257-4185 or the school at 412-563-1353.
Don't forget about BINGO in our School Gym every Friday. Doors open at 5:30 PM, early birds, then bingo starts at 7:00 PM. Homemade dinners are available.
